Dr. Kimura became a doctor because he felt a career dedicated to caring for others would be rewarding and satisfying, noting that he chose primary care because it gives him the opportunity to establish long-term relationship with patients. ”What I enjoy most about being a doctor is having a good relationship with my patients and being able to make a positive impact on their illnesses.” In his practice, Dr. Kimura emphasizes the importance of listening and having compassion for his patients. ”I think it is very important for physician to put themselves in their patients’ position."
Dr. Kimura treasures living with his wife, daughters and son. Away from his practice, he enjoys soccer, tennis, horseback riding and skiing which he frequently does with his family. Dr. Kimura is an avid runner who has recently ran the 2010 Boston Marathon and aspires to run it annually.
