Serving the community of Superior, CO, Dr. Holly Shen is a caring obstetrician and gynecologist. At present, she works at SCL Health Medical Group- Superior OB/GYN and strives to deliver quality care to all visiting individuals.
Dr. Shen earned her medical degree from the American University of Integrative Sciences School of Medicine. She subsequently completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Emory University. She is also certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Trained to address a broad range of medical conditions, Dr. Shen sees patients for various issues like sexually transmitted diseases, urinary tract infections, and ovarian cysts. She enjoys being an obstetrician and gynecologist as she is passionate about guiding women during the most important times of their lives, which include adolescent stages, pregnancy, and menopause.

I could sum it up by saying I wish the nurse was my Doctor. ----No trauma informed care at all.---- I have to assume they get something out of pushing certain brand IUDs since it felt like a sales pitch rather than clinically informed treatment options.

I was absolutely dreading this appointment as I do not like the Drs office in any capacity. I could not have been happier with Dr Shen!!!!! She was truly OUTSTANDING! She was friendly, asked great questions, listened, gave me details of what was happening , offered additional services. For someone who cannot stand the Drs office she was truly fabulous and I was at ease during the entire appt and she is my new Dr! I loved her!!

It was my first time with Dr. Shen as I just moved to Denver and needed a new Gynecologist. I have been with several Gynecologists in my lifetime (I am 63) and I can quickly recognize a good MD (or a bad one) when I meet them. Dr. Shen is wonderful, warm, caring and took the necessary time to explain things to me in a clear manner. She is also a good listener and considered my points of view. Although her office is a bit far from where I live, I left feeling that I would drive to the state's border to see Dr. Shen if need be (hopefully not!). She is really a great Doc.

I was running late for my appointment so I was stressing out because I couldn’t find the office. I had missed a voicemail that told me where to go. I called Dr.Shen’s office and they were very polite about guiding me in the right direction and letting the doctor know how I was running late. The appointment was quick and professional. I was just a new patient trying to find a good doctor and found Dr. Shen. From the time I set up the appointment until the time I walked out of her office I was treated with respect a sense of urgency and everyone that I came into contact with was extremely friendly and nice. Dr Shen and her entire staff really put me at ease. Dr. Shen listens she understands what your needs are and you can tell she genuinely cares. As I was interacting with her staff all were very complementary of Dr. Shen which speaks very highly of her. Dr. shenEmbodies everything I would ever want or need in a doctor!

Dr. Shen was absolutely lovely! Great bedside manner, easy to talk to, listened well, responded to my needs and preferences in a gracious way. She took into consideration a really traumatizing previous experience in a different state with a different doc, but she made sure I was comfortable. I can’t tell you how much that meant to me. I’m so glad I found her!

Dr shen was very compassionate and made me feel very comfortable. I had a lot of anxiety about going today, and she made me feel very welcome and didn’t treat me like i was just another patient. Her office staff also went above and beyond and hung out with my son for me while I was getting examined. Phenomenal women and incredible set of staff. Thank you all very much. It meant the world to us.
