Dr. Hooman Hamidi completed his undergraduate studies at University of Maryland College Park in 2005 earning a Bachelor of Science in neurophysiology. He then continued his studies at Palmer Chiropractic College in California and earned his doctorate degree in 2010.
Dr. Hamidi first became interested in the field of chiropractic after experiencing the positive effects of chiropractic treatment as a result of an injury he sustained while playing soccer back in college. His interest in different sports has influenced him to specialize in sports medicine and treating athletes of all ages and levels.
Dr. Hamidi specializes in treating musculoskeletal conditions of the spine due to overuse activities and athletic injuries. He is licensed in IASTM Technique as well as Manual Release Technique, he uses different modalities to better treat his patients. Dr. Hamidi has continued his chiropractic education with post-doctoral seminars in Chiropractic Neurology, Gait Analysis, and Sports Medicine.

I visited Dr. Hamidi's office about a month ago, I have a wonderful experience with him and his office. He was able to correctly diagnose my knee pain and within three weeks of treatment my knee pain was completely gone and I was able to get back into running again!

I searched the DMV for over two years looking for a chiropractor. Needless to say, I'm happy to have found Dr Hooman. He takes a holistic approach to treatment and is always thorough. 30 min appointments are the perfect amount of time and there is always advice provided in order to prevent additional pain through daily habits and stretch/exercise. Save yourself some time in the search, and make an appointment at District Wellness!

I went in for my shoulder pain and Dr. Hamidi was able to treat my shoulder in 4 visits! He also showed me bunch of exercise and stretches that I do at home and my shoulder is back to normal.

Dr. Hamidi was able to properly treat my lower back pain after doing a detailed examination and testing. My back discomfort reduced significantly and I was able to go back to working out. He also showed me many exercises and stretches that have helped me significantly. I highly recommend him and his office.

Dr. Hamidi is good at his job. I've been to many chiropractors over the last 15 years, and I rank him as one of the best...if not the best. I've only had two appointments with the worst back spasms I've had in two years. He got me on the right track, but also provided an education centered around the root cause of the issue. Cool dude who is also easy to talk to. I'd recommend him

I saw Dr. Hamidi for my shoulder pain which I sustained working out. He was able to correctly diagnose my ongoing shoulder pain and was able to treat it in short period of time.
He was very professional and knowledgeable, I would highly recommend him and his office.

Highly recommend for professionalism and customized care.
I went to Dr. Hamidi about a month ago with moderate lower back pain. He was able to treat the pain quickly but what I was more pleased with was that he walked me through the underlying root cause and gave me a few at-home treatment techniques. Once the underlying conditions improved, he shifted the focus to long-term preventative measures.
