She then went on to obtain her Doctorate of Optometry in Boston’s New England College of Optometry 2014, graduating with honors from her clinical rotations. Her training included a rotation in primary eye care and ocular disease in the University of Maryland hospital. She was also a volunteer member of a missionary trip to Honduras providing eye care to many underserved population.
