Ian Kaden, M.D. is a fellowship trained corneal specialist and board certified ophthalmologist with more than twenty years experience in private practice. He was educated at Brown University, Johns Hopkins University and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He did ophthalmology training at Albert Einstein School of Medicine and a corneal fellowship at the University of Michigan Medical Center. Following his training, Dr. Kaden practiced as a corneal specialist in East Lansing, Michigan and West Orange, NJ. In 1995, he opened his own medical practice in Randolph, New Jersey. Over the past two decades this practice has treated more than twenty thousand patients. Dr. Kaden is widely recognized as an expert in refractive, cataract, and corneal transplant surgeries.

I have been to Dr Kaden 2 or 3 times. My glasses broke in early August and the first appointment I could get off zocdoc was for October. I did not want to get new glasses until I had a new prescription. The office called saying the Zocdoc time was not available and gave me another date. Then the day before the newest appointment they called me again to change the appointment. I told them I could not wait any longer. They wanted me to drive to some faraway location. I was no longer able to drive at night using old glasses. I went to Costco that same day & had a full thorough exam.
