“Fantastic doctor. Caring, empathetic, knowledgeable, clearly explains procedures, and effective. Office is not so great. I was delayed for 1.5 hours. I wasn't informed about what was going on until I inquired, 40 minutes into the delay. I was then told the doctor would see me shortly. I was escorted to the interior waiting room after another 10 minutes and then delayed another 30 minutes. It wasn't until I saw the doctor that she explained that there was an equipment issue. That's understandable but that should have been explained by the office staff. I suspect that this was a rare occurrence and so I would see this doctor again because she is terrific! ”

Dr. McVeigh was absolutely wonderful. I came in for a dilated exam and to address some concerns I had with my vision and left with an unexpected diagnosis that explained everything, much to my relief. She took time with me, explaining what was happening and what my options were for dealing with it, and she patiently let me ask any questions I had. I could tell she truly cared about. She even asked I follow up with her on some other unrelated medical issues I'd been having. She was very warm, professional, and easy talk to.

The doctor is very patient, empathetic and competent. She makes one feel their health is her priority and she takes time to examine and explain everything. The wait time is over and hour but if you’re not busy it is totally worth it. I had bad experiences with other ophthalmologists in the city and I’m truly glad I found Dr. Anne!

I found the process here to be super frustrating. The actual activity of my appointment took 2-3 minutes but for some reason I had to wait for over an hour and by then when a next steps activity was suggested, I had to leave. You can’t be at a doctors appointment for two hours. The idea that this would be the existence for every follow-up was exhausting, so I am going to a different doctor.

Dr. McVeigh is incredibly thorough and truly cares about her patients. She spends as much time as she needs to with each patient which is incredibly rare. But because the system insists on quantity over quality, she ends up running behind schedule. So bring a book and prepare to wait. She’s worth it.

An overall excellent experience.
Dr. Mc Veigh listened carefully, provided great context and advice, and was very kind in sharing contact information for other doctors who would be able to provide me excellent care for a couple of conditions I am managing.
The office called me before my appointment to note that they were running late that day, so I was able to plan ahead. There was a bit of a wait at the office, but I can understand this: Dr. Mc Veigh is SO patient! She listened, answered ALL my questions, and the appointment didn't feel rushed in anyway. As mentioned, she took the time to give me a few excellent referrals.
