I earned my Master’s in Nursing from Morgan State University and completed my Post-Master’s in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. For over three decades, I've been privileged to serve in the dynamic world of nursing, gaining rich experience in diverse fields including cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, medical/surgical, long-term care, and mental health. I worked in the psychiatric intensive care unit for 15 years. i’d made a video appointment but never received a link. the provider insisted the link should be in my email but it wasn’t. she then suggested we speak by phone. after a 30-minute chat, she informs me that she can’t prescribe my medication (the whole reason for the appointment to begin with) until we video chat. i begrudgingly made another appointment for a few days later. the next day, i receive a call from the office, informing me they don’t accept my insurance. i specifically searched for doctors who take my insurance and, it now being weeks later, this provider continues to falsely advertise on zocdoc that they take my insurance. this entire experience was a colossal waste of time.

Overall the doctor was nice, however could be more thorough and descriptive when giving patient important information such as medication details, etc. also could ask more questions and inquire for more information from the patient in terms of relevant background and mental health/state. Sometimes difficult to understand respectfully.
