The staff at the front desk were friendly and i had little wait time before the doctor saw me. The doctor made me feel at ease. She explained everything and answered all my questions. This was my first visit and it went very well.

Dr. Magramm was incredibly thorough, kind, and gentle in the midst of my extreme pain from a scratched cornea. She performed a number of tests and explained her findings for each. I have been seeing opthalmologists for most of my life, and Dr. Magramm is by far my favorite. I cannot recommend her and her services enough.

Knows her stuff but is highly judgmental and with an awful, cold bedside manner. I am never coming back.

This doctor herself was careful and good but I have now had three separate extremely negative experiences with her office staff. They are the rudest I have ever dealt with in any medical appointment for myself or my kids, ever. My first appointment they snapped at me to fill out the paperwork, kept us waiting with no explanation or apology, and sat at their desk fuming loudly about other appointments and patients. My son asked why they were like that. A few months later I called and asked if I could stop by to pick up a copy of his prescription which I needed ASAP to replace glasses. They told me I must not come in person, it would inconvenience them, and that I had to wait for it by mail. Despite all this I made an appointment for my other child for December 19. They called me 3 times yesterday, December 10, to get his insurance information. I did not respond the same day due to work and they called this morning again. When I said I needed to call back from home with the data they said they are canceling the appointment (again, it is December 11 and the appointment is for December 19, and my other son is an existing patient on the same insurance).

This was probably the best pre-examination interview I have had with any doctor. Whereas it is now the norm for doctors to hurry through one or two cursory questions, Dr. Magramm led me through a very thoughtful series of questions with no hint of hurry, soliciting any scraps of info that might be useful for diagnosis. She then proceeded through an equally careful examination. The overall process and her excellent bedside manner left me feeling confident in her conclusions and recommendations. Highly recommended.

Great doctor terribly long wait. It puts you in-between a rock and a hard place becuase you'll get the care you need with a caring professional but that wait is a killer especially if you need to be somewhere or are taking your lunch break to handle you ailments.
Dr Magramm was very knowledgable and took the time to explain everything in detail to me. I left having a good understanding of my medical situation. I did not feel rushed at all and appreciated the care she took.

I booked an appointment day of and receptionist called me to confirm and also 'see if I wanted to come 30 or 60 minutes later' than my scheduled time. I said that if things were running over I would do that, else I'd come at the appointed time. She assured me things were not running over and my appointed time was fine. I waited for an hour and 15 minutes. Not once did anyone give me an update nor was there any hint of an apology or regret that I was kept waiting. In fact, the SECOND time I asked for an updare (whcih was 20 min. after my forst ask, and over an hour of waiting) I was given a very condescending attitude and explained to me like I was a child that 'sometimes the doctor's visits run over'. Even more frustrating was that a woman came in while I was waiting who was escorted in to see the doctor before me. When I asked about it, I was told that 'that's the way we do things around here'. No idea what that means Finally - these ppl charged me when I first arrived. I should have known better and should have waited until after I saw the doctor. Doctor was fine - she did an inspection and got me a treatment (had a very minor infection) but did not acknowledge that she had kept me waiting for over an hour or apologize.. at all. I would NEVER go here. EVER. The way I was treated was inexcusable and unprofessional.

Wonderful experience--Dr. Magramm was so kind, helpful, and thorough; she patiently listened to my many questions! I highly recommend her!
Dr Magramm was amazing with my 9month old. She took one look at her and was able to diagnose what I suspected being blocked tear ducts. She thoroughly checked my daughter and explained everything in normal English, not dr jargon. I went in feeling rather apprehensive and unsure about what to expect from dr Magramm but left feeling well informed and my baby well cared for in a kind, sweet manner. She was very concerned to have my baby be as comfortable and calm as possible. I would highly recommend her and her kind office team.

The doctor is very thorough and I highly recommend. However, do yourself a favor and call the office before you show up for your appointment. Otherwise you could be waiting for hours. (I waited for 2.5 hours)
The two ladies at the front desk were very rude and not friendly. They did not respect the time of my appointment and let a patient that had an appointment after me be treated before me. When I asked for the mistake to be corrected, I was told that I had to wait because I had made my appointment via zocdoc. In the end, I had to wait more than 2 hours to be seen by the doctor, as she was very behind on her schedule. Dr. Magramm was professional and thorough but the experience overall is not recommendable.
Seems very thorough and knows what she's doing. Not a lot of pleasantries so felt a bit tense at times, but overall very professional.
Dr. Magramm gave an extremely thorough exam.
There were two ladies at the reception desk whose behavior was very rude and not friendly. They could not give me an itemized receipt that day so I had to come back just to pick up my receipt. I asked them to email my paper, they said they don't do emails. I had to call three times before they said my paper is ready for pick up. The whole experience was not good. I will not go there ever

I arrived a couple of minutes late (12), but I did call to warn them. That being said, I don't know if that warranted the 45 minute wait. In addition, the waiting room was small and had two receptionists who were constantly bickering and complaining. The actual appointment was alright, but she didn't seem very personable. The problem ended up being that I had the wrong lens prescription and wore my contacts too long. I asked for a few days of contacts and offered to pay while I waiting for ordering new ones. Dr. Magramm gave me three contact lenses and told me she couldn't give me four. What am I going to do with the third one?! I don't have a third eye. When I inquired about a fourth, she snickered and said that I would survive. Very helpful. Needless to say, I will not be back.
Great staff, very polite and friendly. Doctor is very professional, answered all my questions. Doctor was very careful and patience. Very clean environment. I would recommend this doctor very highly.

I'm so glad that I was able to find Dr. Magramm on zocdoc! Just saw her today, and she's wonderful! Highly recommend. She asks enough questions and gives as much explanation. She may not be overly talkative, but didn't think she was curt, like some others wrote. My overall experience was very positive. The wait was about 5-10 minutes, but the time was spent in filling out paperwork, so that was fine. Be sure to send your info via zocdoc in advance, so you can speed up the process when you're actually there.
Dr. Magraam is an excellent ophthalmologist. She gives a very thorough and complete eye exam. If you request an explanation regarding the examination or findings she will provide an answer. If you are looking for a "warm and cuddly" experience with your eye doctor, Dr. M may not be the one for you. But, if you want someone with outstanding knowledge and skill in ophthalmology, this is where you should book your appointment.
Verified patient
She is very sweet and efficient. Great combo.
Visit was brief and professional, though I found the doctor to be curt as was her staff. I had to cancel my followup (was hit with an unexpected fee) and was told they would follow up to reschedule and I never heard back. I was unable to get rescheduled, and will be switch to a different doctor for the follow up.
