Dr. Isaac Vargas was born in Bogota, Colombia. He attended Medical School at Montemorelos University in Montemorelos Mexico and obtained his Medical Degree in 1994. He later moved to Puerto Rico and completed 3 years in the Internal Medicine Program at the University of Puerto Rico. In 2007, he became Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
Upon completion of Internship and Residency, he continued as an attending physician at the University of Puerto Rico where he supervised and taught residents and medical students.
After 4 years of dedicated work, he received a FACP (Fellowship in American College of Physicians) and 2 years later he moved to South Florida. He is presently practicing Internal Medicine at Primary Care Physicians while being an established physician in the Memorial Health Care System and Westside Regional Hospital.

The staff at this office by far the most unprofessional and lazy that I have ever experienced. To start off, I was asked by the receptionist to complete papework when I proceeded to tell her that I had already completed everything via Zocdoc.com which included insurance information, address, medication currently taking etc. She asked if I didnt mind completing again, and I said that I did. She then decided to retrieve my information and of course,she found it.
Once inside the room with the doctor, he was inpersonnal and asked me for the same information that I had just provided including what medication was I on. When I told him that I didnt remember the name of these medication but that I wroted on my paperwork, he said that the receptionist was too far for him to check.
Moreover, I was told that my medication would be called into my pharmacy, but it never was. I called the next day to remind them but I was told that this took time, up to days to process. I have never heard this in my life.
Overall, I would not recommend this office or this doctor.

Dr. Isaac Vargas could care less about the patient. It was a very sad experience for me, he simply asked a few questions, he didnt even bothered to ask about my concerns. Worst part of all, after he was done with his questions he got up and walked out the door ... Just like that!! Not even a good bye or "have a good day" Nothing! A nurse walked in gave me a script and pointed the way to the exit. Never seen this "doctor" again.

It was nothing negative about his procedure since I understand as a new patient a blood test is needed. However, all he did was place notes and information on his computer, issued the blood test and left the room. He did not prescribe me any medication for how I was feeling at the moment. I believe it was the most confusing appointment I ever had with a physician. I went in and came out in 10 min.

Mientras que mi cita era a las 2:45PM el doctor me vio a las 5 PM y no me dijo nada de nuevo, ni un comentario o un consejo sobre mis quejas, solamente decidio de referirme a un especialista, pague un co-pay nada mas por la esperanza de una referencia a un especialista.

I thought all male doctors were insensitive and impatient to get rid of you but Dr Vargas-Cesar was perfect. His manners were worth the wait. He listened and made sure my concerns were discussed.
