I had a 6am appt Was in the dr from by 615 after filling out the new patient information Dr was extremely thorough Would highly recommend
The office staff was friendly, especially considering I arrived prior to 6am and she was already in and set up and ready to go! Dr. Haimovic was thorough and very kind.
Had to reschedule but past experience professional staff, doctors no their stuff,
Oh my God What a Doctor!! Really caring and a complete gentlemen . Very focused and looked into getting everything done all tests & blood work & MRI etc.
AWFUL !!! There is no other words to describe this place but AWFUL! None of the receptionists are nice. They are all rude and act as if your problems dont matter. Trying to make an appointment is a joke. They hang up on you multiple times or just leave you on hold for 15 + minutes. The wait to see Dr. Haimovic was 4+ hours. Yes, I said 4+ hours. My appointment was at 2 and I did not get into the office until 6:30pm. Then waited in his office for an additional hour. When I finally saw him he made everything short and sweet as if he didn't care about my situation. He was very insensitive. Didn't leave that office until 9:00pm. The whole experience was horrible. I really don't understand how they remain open with such rude and insensitive staff and doctors. I would never ever recommend this place to anyone!
Today was my first appointment with Dr. Haimovic. He was incredibly warm, attentive, engaged and personable. I heeded the advice of many and scheduled my appointment for 6:30am. I was seen by 6:45 (after I filled out my paperwork). He was able to call the MRI facility and schedule me a convenient appointment just a few days away (since my condition was not an emergency), and was able to schedule me right away for a sonogram. Due to the thoroughness of his examination (this is a good thing!) and his desire to examine all possibilities (another good thing), I had two sonograms performed after my appointment, which took a little while. He then read the results and had his nurse convey those results to me, so that I did not have to wait for him to have a break in his patients. I would recommend him to everyone-- if you are concerned with accuracy, bedside manner, and being seen by an incredibly competent doctor, you might have to sacrifice expediency. Do not expect to be in and out of this office in 45 minutes. However, if you want to leave knowing that you are in good hands, you've come to the right place.
Dr. H. is a very professional and thorough doctor. Very courteous and friendly. Nothing but thumbs up! You have his full attention the moment he introduces himself. A wonderful doctor.
Great. A LOT of redundant paperwork though. He's terrific, and so is his staff.
Excellent exam and bedside manner. Respect his opinion.
A good old fashioned doctor what covers all bases and takes his time with his patients. More doctors should be just like him. He and his staff are buttoned up and leave no stone unturned.
He is extremely dedicated and an excellent doctor. I respect his opinion greatly and find that he is correct about his opinion 99% of the time. He has a huge following and gives you a very thorough examination.
I haven't had such a thorough examination in years. Dr. Haimovic spends his time with you, clearly explains his plan of care and is a great doctor- I would definitely recommend him.
Got to the appointment 20 early then waited over almost 2 hour to be seen, then was sat in a office for another 30 min. Once I finally got to the doctor everything was so rushed! He might as well have pushed me out the door. Then once I left I realized I was never given my prescription for a very important blood exam I need done. No I must drive 30 min out of my way again to the office or they can mail it but the way they function I probably will never receive it! I work in healthcare and have never had patients wait / treated like this nor have I ever experienced this with any other Doctor.
If he finds what's causing numbness than my impression of him will be correct. If not ?
He is a marvelous doctor. Listens and shows compassion for his patients. So thankful I found him through friend.
Absolutely the best! with the walls of awards to prove it! First of all he makes early appointment I was seen at 6 am which was perfect cause I had work and need to be seen right away. The staff was so friendly for having to be up so early!!! He was so kind and showed extreme concern. Asked me a bunch of questions, and made funny comments to make me comfortable since I'm sure he could tell i was nerves. Then he took me to a room where he examed me (which none of the other neurologist have done). He finally gave me the answers I was looking for and booked me right away for an MRI since his office has an MRI center on a Sunday! (didn't have to wait weeks for an appointment). His office made me comfortable since he has walls full of plaques saying for years his been voted best neurologist in nyc. When I left he said to me "don't give up on me, cause i won't give up on you, I will help you." I was touched since I've had horrible doctors for years that had not cared. I see why he is the best! And should be rewarded every month!
Very nice and understood what I was dealing with. Took a few tests and now waiting for results
The doctor is a well informed physician and a pleasure to talk to.
Dr. Haimovic is not only a brilliant man but he has an amazing bedside manner. I have worked in medical field for a long time and he is always the first recommended neurologist and now I am aware why,
There are very good reasons why Dr. Haimovic's office is filled with national and regional "Best Doctor" awards. He is brilliant, kind, thorough, and simply the best neurologist.
