Parents and caregivers often have a vision of what their child might be like, a plan for how they want to raise their child, and dreams for their future. It can therefore be difficult to seek help when something comes along that seems to threaten that vision, plan or dream such as a concern about a child’s development and behavior or when something unexpected and upsetting has happened to your child or your family. I am a compassionate, warm, strength-based, and trauma-informed psychologist trained to support children (as young as infants), parents, and families to address concerns for their children.
My practice is grounded in evidence-based approaches to support children, adolescents, parents, and families to address their concerns. I support families when a trauma or major change has occurred, challenging behaviors have arisen, or when there are developmental concerns such as Autism Spectrum Disorder or Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.
