I have worked with more than my fair share of doctors since my deceased husband was treated for cancer at the Mayo Clinic, Stanford, UCSF and Cal Pacific in San Francisco. Dr. Khaira has the best bedside manner, hands down! His authentic communication style coupled with phenomenal active listening is so refreshing. His staff were warm and congenial. I am glad to have found such an awesome PCP in town!

Dr Khaira is positive and upbeat, understanding of people's backgrounds, and always striving to help his patients be the best they can be.
Previously I haven't really cared much for any GP I've had. I thought they were just different cogs in a machine - Dr. Khaira proved to me that having an excellent GP is really important.

We are contracted with most commercial PPO insurance plans, however, we do not currently accept Individual or Family plans purchased off the Health Care Exchange. Dr. Khaira himself is very nice, but his staff could use some fine tuning on their people skills. As mentioned previously, Dr. Khaira himself is very nice and personable, but the time I had with him personally was pretty rushed and I didn't get too much of an empathetic vibe from him, perhaps I was unlucky enough to catch him on a couple of busy days?

For some reason they didn't accept my ZocDoc forms I submitted and I had to fill out the same forms by hand when I arrived.
I also expected to have my blood test done there on the premises, but instead they just told me to go to a LabCorp place nearby. Perhaps there was a miscommunication about why I setup the appointment.

Dr Khaira's office is clean and tidy, and he was very professional and courteous. He asked a lot of questions about my symptoms and seemed invested in helping me figure out what's causing them. He explains things very well in layman's terms and I felt he was very thorough.

When a doctor tells you like it is and doesn't try to do unnecessary tests or unnecessary visits and just gives you information and his honest opinion about a possible diagnosis that's a great doctor right there in my opinion
