A family practitioner with over 18 years of experience, Dr. James Tweedy is proud to serve the people of Philadelphia, and strives to offer compassionate, quality care to all his patients, young and old. He does not prescribe any pain medicine or anti-anxiety medicine. Dr. Tweedy is an Osteopathic Physician who received his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following graduation, he completed an internship at Riverside Hospital in Wilmington, Del., and his residency at St. Agnes Hospital/PCOM, in Philadelphia. Dr. Tweedy is certified by the Academy of Osteopathic Family Medicine, and serves as an adjunct clinical assistant professor at the New York Institute of Technology and the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Tweedy also received the Philadelphia Fire Department Heroism Award in 1985 and the City of Philadelphia Certificate of Merit in 1986. He is married, and the father of four children.
