Interesting first visit, was charged more due to it being my first time and told to come back again and it would be cheaper. Felt a bit of an attitude from the doctor regarding information about what I was prescribed from my previous doctor. Had an issue filling my prescription I had a difficult time getting sorted out and not sure if it was the office or the Walgreens I went to but didnt seem like anyone wanted to help me straighten it out without driving back across the city to physically get the prescription re-written.

Dr. Vevaina was a nice man, but was ineffective as a doctor. He left me on the same medications as my general practitioner making the trip and the experience a complete waste of time. He did not perform any lung function tests on me, which should have been a red flag. Upon visiting other asthma specialists and pulmonolgist the first step they all took was performing a battery of lung function tests, discovering that I was far sicker than expected. In retrospect I feel like Dr. Vevaina was more concerned about making money off of me than actually getting me well.

I waited about thirty minutes before I was called into the room, and another thirty once I was in there—making the time that I actually saw Dr. Vevaina about an hour later than my appointment. Once I saw him, I felt extremely rushed, like he had something more important to do than address his patients. I don't at all feel comfortable with this doctor.
