Jamie Wallach, MD was born and raised locally in Oakland. Dr. Wallach has over 30 years of experience in the nutritional field, and has been a pediatrician for 20 years. She majored in Dietetics and Nutrition at University of California, Davis. After working as a clinical dietitian, she attended Chicago Medical School and then returned locally to complete her pediatric residency at Stanford University. She spent her first decade as a pediatrician in a San Jose, CA private practice, and later focused on the care and prevention of overweight and obese children. Prior to joining Alameda Pediatrics, she worked as a Pediatric Hospitalist, providing care to hospitalized infants and children. Dr. Wallach resides in Oakland where she stays busy raising her three children.
