My experience at Denver Eye Surgeons was excellent! There were a lot of appointments leading up to the actual surgery day, but it made me feel comforted that they did their due diligence to make sure all was perfect for surgery day. The actual surgery itself literally took less than 2 minutes per eye, which was amazing! 23 years of glasses and contacts gone! All of the nurses ensured my recovery instructions were clear and comfortable. Dr. Stahl is a talented ophthalmologist and a friendly, capable, experienced Doctor. I knew I was in good hands!

More about Dr. Jan Stahl, MD
Jan H. Stahl is an Ophthalmologist who specializes in Refractive Surgery and Cataract Surgery. As a Cataract Surgeon, his focus is on Premium Lenses. He has been named one of Denver's top three LASIK surgeons in a survey of Denver's top doctors in the August 2001 issue of 5280 Magazine. To date, Dr. Stahl has performed over 8,000 refractive procedures and has supervised other surgeons in the performance of LASIK and PRK. Dr. Stahl's ophthalmology residency was accomplished at the University of Virginia, where he served as chief resident during his final year. During that time he developed techniques for implanting foldable contact lenses through "small incisions" during cataract surgery.
He completed a 6 month sabbatical in Florence, Italy where he studied Art History, Italian and Photography. He has published several photographic books on his travels including Africa, Galapagos, Machu Picchu and Yosemite. His passions also include cycling, skiing, and traveling with his wife and children.
