I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in the psychiatric field, serving individuals across all age groups, from school-age children to older adults. I completed my studies at Walden University and subsequently undertook my internship with Beal Wellness in Atlanta, GA under the guidance of Dr. Eddie Beal. With 18 years of experience in Critical Care nursing, I have honed a holistic approach to patient care, focusing not only on their physical well-being but also their mental health.
My expertise lies in the treatment of mood disorders, trauma, psychotic disorders, attention-deficit disorders, anxiety, and depression-related disorders. I conduct thorough assessments and provide medication management, in addition to offering brief psychotherapeutic interventions. I strongly believe in developing individualized care plans that prioritize client participation, evidence-based practices, and interdisciplinary collaboration. My objective is to empower my patients and provide supportive education in a non-judgmental setting to address their illnesses.
During the initial visit, clients can expect a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, appropriate diagnoses, and recommended treatment goals. I am dedicated to educating clients about their diagnoses and treatment options, and I ensure that they have ample time to address all questions and concerns.
I have the privilege of collaborating with skilled and experienced clinicians and therapists to coordinate psychotherapy needs for my clients. I work alongside a warm and welcoming staff who can assist with all scheduling, insurance, and billing inquiries that my clients may have.
