She's the best podiatrist I have seen so far. She has a genuine concern for her patient. I feel discriminated in other places but I did not feel it with her. She's professional, knowledgeable and a compassionate doctor.

She completed a three-year surgical residency at St. Barnabas Hospital and Peninsula Hospital in Far Rockaway. Dr. Gefter is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and Medicine and has been in practice since 2004.
The practice is happy to see you in the office and help with your foot and ankle complaints. Please note that the office does not accept Medicaid insurance, as podiatry is not a covered service under Medicaid.

Im so glad i found Dr. Gefter and went to her for my issues. Shes a great listener and really took the time to answer all my questions and make me feel at ease. She was very thorough and explained everything she was going to do. The girl at the front desk was also very nice. The office is small but very clean & organized and i didn't even wait to be seen. I am overall pleased and happy with my experience.

She was friendly and straight to the point. The girl at the front desk was great as well. I had my period and my cramps started going crazy and she actually hot me some ibuprofen from the dentist office that they share. Talk about going above and beyond! I highly recommend them.

She said my name right lol which was cool. She was bery calm and focused on finding out my problem. Also, she referred me to an MRI to make sure i get an extensive diagnosis for my foot, i appreciate her trying to make sure that she takes the right steps to taking care of my foot. The doctor is fine but I waited over an hour to be seen for just 5 minutes! The receptionists are rude and unprofessional, the doctor was late to work, instead of them calling me I showed up for them to tell me I would have to wait more than 2 hours to be seen, I was told to go shopping and come back later. Then they had the nerve to report me to zocdoc as a no show!
