Dr. McBean is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Brown Medical School. He completed his Dermatology Residency training at Brown Medical School where he served as chief resident. With the ultimate goal of providing the full array of dermatologic services to his patients, he pursued additional fellowship training in laser surgery and procedural and cosmetic dermatology.
During his fellowship he researched and became an expert in the latest technologies including minimally invasive laser liposuction (SmartLipo™), fractional laser resurfacing, soft tissue fillers (Restylane®, Juve¢derm®, Perlane®, Radiesse®), chemical peels and Botox® Cosmetic.
Dr. McBean has lectured nationally, instructing physicians on various aesthetic procedures and skin care regimens, as well as skin cancer treatment and prevention. He has published in numerous dermatologic and cosmetic surgery journals and authored several book chapters on surgical and cosmetic procedures.

Dr. McBean was the perfect combination of friendly, thorough and efficient. I was able to have a full body check, wart removal and skin tag removal all done in 15 minutes on my first visit. One of the best docs I've been to in a long time! Friendly office staff as well.
