Offering medical and surgical procedures plus skin care, Aspire Dermatology provides comprehensive skin evaluations and effective treatment options for many skin conditions. Dr. Michaels has almost two decades of experience as a board-certified dermatologist and offers treatment for everything relating to the skin, ranging from acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis and suspect moles to Mohs Micrographic Surgery. Dr. Michaels is a firm believer in the value of continuing education and mastering best practices and procedures. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada, Reno and his medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine internship at Brown University and his dermatology residency at Texas Tech University. He later obtained his Masters of Business Administration at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Dr. Michaels has also completed preceptorships with six of the top cosmetic dermatologists and laser surgeons in the country. In his spare time, he enjoys all aspects of good health, including swimming, cycling and frequenting the state’s local farmers markets for healthy food. Since moving to Rhode Island he has a new found enjoyment for some of the unique hobbies of New England including; fishing, growing a vegetable garden and snowboarding
