Jay Michael Kashkin is a full fellowship trained allergist and immunologist who has been treating pediatric and adult patients in Fair Lawn, NJ since 1989. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine from the Universidad CETEC in Santo Domingo.
After an internship at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, Dr. Kashkin completed his residency in the Department of Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Immediately following his residency, he completed his fellowship in the Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology at The Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY. Immediately following completion of his fellowship, he was appointed Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Allergy and Immunology (1988-2010).
During this time, he was also served as a Principal Investigator and Director of an early clinical study on pediatric HIV infection. His data, looking at fetal target organs of HIV was presented at the first international conference on AIDS in Stockholm, Sweden. He also co-authored some of the earliest publications on HIV/AIDS.
Currently, Dr Kashkin performs research in the treatment of hereditary angioedema. He is considered one of the nation’s experts on this particular disease state. He lectures throughout the United States to both health care providers and patients on current therapies. He co-authored 2 papers this summer in peer reviewed journals. Other interests are focused on the treatment of chronic hives as well as asthma.
He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He holds professional memberships in the American Medical Association, and the American College of Allergy and Immunology.

Amazing doctor, staff, place, lot of parking, not too crowded. Office have enough waiting seats and inside the check up room they had so much puzzles, books, and some educational toys that my kids played with. They all made us feel comfortable and gave us option on how to proceed with the test with our son due to his disability.
Doctor was kind, informative, extremely helpful. He literally walked with us to the next Dental offices and referred us to another wonderful doctor/dental pedia this time. Thank you so very much.
