Dr. Hymes staff is very efficient ,thorough and pleasant. They were very busy and still squeezed me in for a first time visit, so I was happy to wait; under the circumstances my wait time was not a surprise, nor was it egregious.
That said, I found Dr. Hymes to be very mindful with a conservative approach to health care and pain management (not immediately choosing invasive procedures, nor masking symptoms by throwing a lot of pain meds at it). I feel as though I am in very good hands and excited to see some results - soon!

Jayson A. Hymes, MD, MPH, FACPM is the Medical Director of Conservative Care Specialists Medical Group, Inc. He is a graduate of the University of Louisville Medical School and the Harvard School of Public Health. He completed his post graduate training at the Harvard Medical Associated Hospitals and the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology with further qualifications in Pain Management, the American Board of Pain Medicine and the American Society of Addiction Medicine. Dr. Hymes is also a Fellow of the American College of Pain Medicine, a Qualified Medical Evaluator and a Medical Review Officer (Stage I).
Dr. Hymes was an Assistant Professor at Emory University Medical School in Atlanta, Georgia, then the co-director of the Pain Center at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He has practiced only in Pain Medicine and Addiction Medicine for over 17 years. He is a member of the American Pain Society, the International Association for the Study of Pain, the American Society of Addiction Medicine, the International Neuromodulation Society and the American Academy of Pain Medicine.
The author of numerous articles and chapters, Dr. Hymes has been an advisor to the Medical Board of California, The California Narcotics Officers Association and the Executive Office of the President of the United States (Office of National Drug Control Policy). He is an internationally known and respected clinician and researcher and is a popular speaker in his field.
