Dr. Chacko is great at his profession. He is very knowledgeable and very polite. He listens to his patients needs and does his very best to make you pain free. I became his patient after a car accident where I injured both my back and neck and he put me back on tract. I wasted time with other doctors and got nowhere before I looked him up on Zocdoc. Dr. Chacko is the only one I trust now to deal with any pain issues.

Dr. Chacko is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Pain Medicine. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He then went on to complete a fellowship in pain management and sports medicine at the prestigious UMDNJ/Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation.
Dr. Chacko has extensive experience and expertise in musculoskeletal medicine, spinal pain management and sports medicine. His is highly skilled in the most advanced interventional pain management techniques including both ultrasound and fluoroscopically guided injections. He also performs Diagnostic Ultrasound and Electrodiagnostic studies to pin point the source of pain and to guide treatment. He also holds MD certification in acupuncture.

I felt very rushed and like I was not being listened to. I also didn’t like the fact that I had an EMG and the procedure was not really explained to me. Also there were too many men in the room and their should have been a lady. Don’t think I will be going back.

This was a great place, the doctors are great too. Staff was very kind as well. I booked through Zoc Doc with my insurance info to get a doc in my network but after my appointment the manager said they don’t take my insurance which I could not understand because they saw my insurance info on zoc doc and also when I came to the clinic but did not say anything until after my appointment was over. They should have waived the fee because it was their mistake but still made me pay. Overall good experience but ending was very disappointing especially because I drove an hour to get there.

Dr. Chacko was very personable and answered all of my questions. On the first visit he gave me a shot for my shoulder pain, set up my neurology appt to be done right in his office (without it having to be done in two days as I have previously experienced), and made an appt to do my back injection. By my surprise I didn't feel the shot in my shoulder and it was complete before I knew it started. (And for those who are deathly afraid of needles like I am you would appreciate this.) Everyone in the office was friendly. He's a keeper!

Exam was kind of quick, perhaps not that thorough. He doesn't do the acupuncture, another licensed acupuncturist in the office does it. The office was not that clean, which put me off a bit.

I am thrilled to have found this medical professional so close to my home! He actually LISTENED to me and to my concerns. I was especially impressed with his knowledge of pain management. He was not one of those doctors that try to push pain meds without even exploring other options. I am also very appreciative of the front desk staff! They were so friendly and compassionate! They answered all of my questions and are very competent with managing the office schedule. I think I waited 2 minutes before being called into the office!

Very informative answered all and any question had pertains to my reason of visit along with giving detail history of his experience . What like most was when I request to see area of where injections are performed ; the machine that allows them to see how accurately where the injections is being inserted , showed it to me without hesitation . All areas clean on Both of my visits . Most importantly all his licensed certifications were displaced to the patient reach to see up front in person on the wall . Everything I asked pertaining my treatment whether it was a pro or con was answered directly .

I have been attending Dr. Chacko's office ever since the car accident I recently got into in 2016 and I am so greatly appreciated to have gone to him for my back pain! Dr. Chacko is marvelous
. He really cares and makes time to really understand and listen to what your concerns are, and where your pain is really located. He does not only welcome you, but he also treats you with ALL the possible ways that can make your pain go away and of course, make you feel better. I still attend his office today for physical therapy, and nothing has changed. Dr. Chacko is always there and the staff are very friendly! Bonus for the wait time because you dont wait for too long to go.

He's not a very friendly doctor, at least to me. He doesn't seem to like being asked questions. He's definitely not informative. And his office is not honest about what they're doing, and that's all I'll say. Even after expressing my issues, they never attempted to resolve it. I'm not bitter there are plenty of doctors to choose from out there. But it's a warning for potential patients.

It seemed like their office is in it for the money because they wanted to book separate appointments for each test they wanted to give me. Not only do I not have the time, but that's a separate expense each visit. I was not happy. As for the quality of the doctor, I have no opinion because I did not get much time with him.

I think this doctor is good for people who have a sports injury or localized pain but I have fibromyalgia and not only did he question it, which 3 other doctors have diagnosed, but he prescribed muscle relaxers which have nothing to do with nerve pain. I'm sure he is a good doctor for some people but go elsewhere for fibromyalgia pain.
