I absolutely adore Dr. Kummer. I know it's never fun having to go see a specialist when you're hurt, but if you do unfortunately have to see one, Dr. Kummer is the right person for you. Please keep in mind that she specializes in only upper body upper body extremity.

Dr. Jennifer Kummer graduated Cum Laude from the University of Rochester with degrees in both Biology and Economics. She then attended medical school at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and was selected as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. She performed her residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Chicago. She then performed a fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
Dr. Kummer joined the Steadman Hawkins Clinic - Denver in September 2008. She specializes in the treatment of disorders of the hand and upper extremity. This includes sports related injuries, fractures, arthritis, pediatric conditions, and peripheral nerve disorders such as carpal tunnel syndrome. She is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Kummer is a consulting team physician for the Colorado Rockies Professional Baseball Club and the Denver Broncos football team. She also is the team physician for Regis Jesuit High School.

Dr. Kummer was great. The office itself though is very factory like. First thing in - x-rays even bore I saw the Dr. then back to the room. All friendly mind you - just felt like a factory assembly line.

Dr. Kummer is my first and only choice for orthopedic care in Denver. She is an expert in her field and I don't know anyone in her field that is more proficient, caring and meticulous.
