This was not my first visit to Dr. Xenos as he has replaced my left hip in the past. I believe him to be an extremely gifted surgeon and a very caring and compassionate man. I have recommended him to others and will continue to do so.

Highly recommended, Very personable. I was expecting to be told I need a knee replacement (turning 50 and blown ACL and torn meniscus) I like the sounds of the results of a knee replacement but don't like the sounds of the invasive surgery it takes. Dr. recommended that being healthy enough to get an ACL and repair meniscus and save total knee replacement for down the road if needed. Very happy with explanation of procedure and techniques used.

He is worth the wait. He performed surgery on my left knee and recently surgery on my husband's right knee. I was very concerned since my husband is almost 77 and his first knee surgery by a different dr. was not very good. The difference of day and night, we are extremely pleased; surgery on 12/20/2015 scar is like a small red line, he has been able to walk without any aids one month after his surgery. It has been six weeks and no longer requires therapy because he is able to use his leg with full range of motion.

Great Experience throughout the visit. Reception, Asst PA and Dr Xenos were truly professional. Dr. Xenos and his PA listened and approached my pain region very carefully and took the necessary time to explain everything. When their recommendations for improvement were offered and explained, my anxiety were reduced and my hopes for improvement gained tremendously. Thank you Dr Xenos and your PA.

I had endured knee pain (bone on bone) for quite a while before visiting Dr. Xenos. He reviewed my x-rays and highly recommended a total knee replacement. I have to admit that I was very nervous initially (due to a scary surgical experience with a different ortho doctor several years before, an addiction to Internet horror stories, and an overactive imagination), but Dr. Xenos, Charlie and Steve (the PA's) answered my numerous questions patiently, and continually reassured me (without making me feel bad!) right up until time for my surgery. After my surgery, I was amazed that I was able to get out of bed, after all the anesthesia wore off, and with the help of the nurses, walk to the bathroom. I used a walker during my stay in the hospital, but actually walked out of the hospital with just my cane, which I used at home for the first couple of days. My recovery went very well with much less pain that I anticipated! By 2 weeks out, I was off all of the pain medication, except for Ibuprophen and Tylenol. I am now 6 weeks out (my 6-week follow-up was today!), and unless I REALLY overdo it, am almost completely pain-free! Maybe, I was in more pain than I was willing to acknowledge prior to my surgery, but I am seriously amazed and thrilled with how fast and how well my recovery has gone. Overall, my experience was so much better than I ever thought possible! I received exemplary care from Dr. Xenos, my anesthesiologist (Dr. Justin Smith), and all of my nurses at Sky Ridge! So, bottom line, based on my experience, I would highly recommend Dr. Xenos and his staff! I am truly grateful for his expertise!

I absolutely love Dr. Xenos and his staff! I've never had an injury that required surgery before so I was a little nervous about this whole process. Dr. Xenos made me so incredibly comfortable and confident every step of the way. He has the best personality and is so down to earth. Right away I could tell he LOVES what he does and working with his patient which make me feel at ease. I couldn't be happier with my decision to see Dr. Xenos and his PA. I would recommend and trust Dr. Xenos and his staff with any one of my family members and/or friends. Stop searching for the best orthopedic doctor in Lone Tree because Dr. Xenos is it.

I have been in pain ever since my full hip replacement 4/20/2015. Dr. Xenos ordered Blood work role out infection and a MRI. I was not given, any results from the blood tests from his office. My PCP called me, Dr. Xenos was not available, for my MRI follow up appointment, I saw his PA Charlie, but he had little information to share. He recommended I make another appointment to see Dr. Xenos.

Dr. Xenos is an amazing surgeon! He repaired a Right ankle fracture (actually 3 fractures) on this 71 year old woman! He is the sweetest, most compassionate and caring doctor! I absolutely LOVE Dr. Xenos! He gave me a big hug when he saw me today. He is very funny and personable, which is outside the norm for some surgeons (some are just so serious!). He loves to tease me, and I get a real kick out of it! This gal can honestly say that she looks forward to seeing Dr. Xenos for her follow up appointments because I know that appointment will certainly make my day!

Dr. Xenos was friendly and easy to talk with. I had a few questions about my upcoming surgery, and he answered my questions thoroughly. I felt comfortable around him, which is important when he will be your surgeon. My gripe is only with the wait time. I waited an hour past my appointment time, and had to change from one exam room to another during that wait. I don't mind waiting for the great service i've received, but a quick update or explanation during the wait would have gone a long way in making me feel valued as a patient.

Dr. Xenos is a professional of the highest caliber. He performs excellent replacement joints, is a perfectionist, and his surgeries turn out perfect. When diagnosed for a knee replacement, he took time to inform me what would be done, how it would be done and what to expect for recovery. I could not expect anymore personal treatment from any physician. When describing his personality, he is very caring, has a sense of humor and shows humility. I recommend him for any surgery without reservation. He is the best in the Colorado/Wyoming area.
