I saw Dr Mills as a GP after my old general practitioner retired. Dr Mills was extremely knowledgeable and had a great bedside manner. She answered all of my questions and concerns and gave me good recommendations for overall healthful living. I will absolutely be coming back.

i’ve been looking for a PCP for ages and i’ve finally found the perfect black woman provider! the office is nice & clean. front staff/receptionist were prompt in addressing all visitors. the nurse was friendly & you can tell Dr. Mills really cares! oh & they’re open on Saturday so i didn’t have to take off of work! 10/10 recommend.

I've seen Dr. Mills twice. The first interaction was pleasant enough. She answered my questions and provided good insight. However, because I have, as she put it, "kind eyes," she proceeded to tell me about another patient's unwillingness to get vaccinated. She shared her frustration which ate away at our 15-minute appointment. I was a bit concerned this wasn't the first time she'd done something like this. Because she didn't give any PII away, I felt I couldn't do much about it.
The second time I met with her she was about 30 minutes late for our appointment. It's not surprising because I'm used to this at doctor's offices. The Drs. at AllCare use timers to make sure they don't go over the allotted 15-minutes. She began the timer and spoke nearly the entire time. I was unable to ask questions because she spoke over me, but when I pushed back on taking a certain medication she became combative. She then abruptly ended our conversation. because she had gone over time. I felt cheated since I didn't leave the appointment feeling confident that I had been heard and felt that I was just another number in line. I had to speak to a manager because of her behavior and I have no idea what became of it. All I know is that she no longer works there.

Save your time and anergy and see someone else. My first appt. started over 15mins late and it felt like the Dr. did not listen to me or fully take my concerns into consideration. That should have been the sign to not go back, but I needed to have a follow up appointment to conclude the treatment plan. I waited OVER an hour for the second appointment to start. It never did. I have evidence (screenshots) that the online system logged me in and that it was ‘waiting on the care team’ but the Dr. never logged on and the office blamed it on the system not saying I was logged in. Complete waste of time. Save yourself the hassle and pick somewhere else.

I have been in search of a PCP for sometime now and by the reviews left, I believed I had found one. I was seen 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment which was fine given the reviews of each appointment being very thorough. Once I was seen, I noticed there was a timer set while Dr. Mills went through a series of questions (some I didn’t really understand). Once the questionnaire (10-12 min) was finished she informed me she was over her time and had to move on. I was prescribed a prescription but wasn’t educated on it. I wasn’t informed on the next steps I would take as a follow up. I was given papers by an office assistant and told my lab results would be posted online. I had to look up what certain terminologies meant just to understand my lab results. It wasn’t much of an inviting atmosphere as a new patient.

Staff was cold and short. I didn’t feel seen at all. Just another number. Quickest visit in my entire life. Had to remind the physician to run a test that is typically offered for the type of appointment rendered. The best part of the visit was when it ended.

I had a great experience. I’m a new patient, and I went in for a physical/annual exam. It was the most thorough exam I’ve ever had. I had a physical last year with a different provider and it lasted about 10 minutes. Dr. Mills took her time to go through everything and even addressed topics that I forgot to bring up. She was excellent and I’m so glad I found her.

Overall I had a good experience at Dr. Mills' office. Although she was not in the office the day of my appointment, the doctor that filled in for her was excellent! He took time to hear all of my concerns and answer my questions. My biggest issue with my appointment was with one of the nurses who was supposed to take blood samples from me. After inserting a needle in my arm and not getting any blood, he kept moving the needle around, which caused a bruise. Another nurse had to come in and get the sample instead.

The staff was helpful and friendly and Dr. Mills was kind, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable. Her advice on my concerns helped put things in perspective and relieved my anxiety. I would definitely visit again.

Avoid going to AllCare if you can. The front desk staff was rude and the whole lobby area was filthy.
When the doctor entered the room, she immediately started a 14 minute timer - not a good sign. She was fine but definitely would prefer a doctor that doesn’t rush me and makes me feel listened to. I didn’t feel that way.
At the end, a woman dressed in street clothing took my blood (I hope she was a nurse). I am not sensitive to needles but she was clumsy and not only was it the most painful blood drawing, I was left with a huge bruise that’s still on my arm after a week.
My test results were sent to me through their patient portal which is difficult to navigate if you want to read each result because none of them are labeled from the main page.
If your insurance will cover it, find a different doctor’s office.

Dr. Mills was very knowledgeable and answered my questions. She seemed to be in a hurry though and just shy of being exasperated. I was probably her second or third appointment of the day at 9:15am on a Saturday so wondering if that is her normal manner. I felt confident in her advice and it’s clear she knows what she is doing.

I always struggle with feeling comfortable with doctors. I quickly booked with Dr. Mills due to her being a woman and seemingly Black (I don't want to assume but she is a woman of color) so I felt I would at least be at ease with her. But she exceeded my expectations! She went through my issues step by step and explained in detail about what was going on in my body and the steps we needed to take to fix/manage things. I also didn't feel like I had to "prove" my pain to her. She is extremely knowledgeable, kind, a listener, and someone who I want with my care team.

It's been a struggle trying to find a black primary care doctor in the DC area. My past experiences were horrific to the point that I went years without a regular check up and was only going to my OB/GYN for my annual appointments. After today's visit with Dr. Mills, I feel like my health matters. I appreciated her transparency, friendliness, and patience with answering all my questions. I left feeling at ease knowing that I encountered a doctor that I can trust and truly cares. I'm so happy I found Dr. Mills.
