The doctor and front staff and doctor were great! Dr. Brinegar explained everything very well! He was just AMAZING. However, I was disappointed that they were unaware I had an appointment. They hadn't checked their zocdoc, until I went in saying I had an appointment. I am also a little disappointed on the time it is taking to receive my glasses. I ordered them and was told they'd be here on Thursday...Here it is Monday and I still don't have my glasses.

Dr. Brinegar is very professional, helpful, answered all our questions and gave ample amount of time to answer all my queries.
My 5 years old is the patient and he went along with the staff and the Doctor very easily.
He was not at all in any hurry.
I definitely recommend him to anyone who ead my review.

Dr. Jerry Brinegar grew up in Hot Springs, Arkansas and went to Arkansas Tech University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then went on to Southern College of Optometry and graduated with honors.
After seven years of running his own practice, Dr. Brinegar has joined Ultimate Eye Care and enjoys family practice optometry. He is dedicated to helping patients find the best glasses prescription, as well as evaluating them for glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, diabetes, retinal detachments, high blood pressure, thyroid disorders, dry eyes, and headaches.
Dr. Brinegar promises his patients a thorough explanation of their eye health status and vision needs with emphasis on preventative care, resulting in an enhanced quality of life. In his free time, Dr. Jerry can be found watching football or the latest in science fiction.

I guess the only thing that bothered me a little, not a big deal, was that the staff in the front desk didn't greet me or asked me for help. I stood there for like a minute or two not knowing what I had to do, since it was my first time there. Other than that, Dr. Jerry Brinegar was GREAT.

I first saw Dr. Brinegar four years ago (hadn't had an eye exam since then) and decided to figure out if/where he was currently practicing. I'm glad I tracked his new practice down: got the same professional treatment I received back then, plus the other staff in this new office were helpful and courteous. I've already recommended him to a co-worker.

My appointment was at 4:15, i probably got there at 3:15, hoping they could get me in early, and they had me in the back doing preliminary eye exams by 3:30, so that was awesome.
The dr had EXCELLENT beside manner. Thorough, and explained things in laymen's terms. Good Experience.
if i had one critique, it would be that waiting room chairs could be less chic and a bit more comfortable, but other than that, top of the line!

Dr. Brinegar was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all of my questions which left me with the impression that he sincerely cared about my health. Plus, he didn't try to "sell me" on any prescriptions, they were more of a recommendation. I also appreciated Ashley (Admin. Assistant) for taking care of me. I was prescribed a certain eye drop for my allergies and the office was out of samples that day. Ashley stated she would get some samples from their other location so I can try them out before I fill the prescription. She also helped me select a frame for my new prescription glasses and I really appreciated her opinion. Thank you Dr. Brinegar and Ashley for leaving such a positive impression. I will definitely recommend you to my family and friends because I trust that they will receive the same type of quality service!

I really tried to find Dr. Brinegar over a span of many months....finally I got smart and "looked it up" DUH! He is always very thorough and patient. He listens.....big plus....You know he is going to give you a top-notch exam. He talks to you in a manner that immediately lets you know (in my case) re-discovered a gem!
