My practice philosophy is to provide “holistic” care, which is to say that I perceive my patients in their entirety, and though my expertise is in my chosen specialty, I remain abreast of each individual’s general health and emotional well being. After many years of practice as the senior partner in a large OB-GYN group practice, I recently decided to “downsize.” I now limit my practice to gynecologic office and surgical care in order to provide more uninterrupted time for consultation with my patients.
In addition to having served on the Colorado Board of Medical Examiners and as Chairman of the Colorado Perinatal Care Council, I have been elected by my peers as President of the Colorado Gynecological and Obstetrical Society and Chair of District VIII of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. I recently completed a three year term as a member of the Executive Board of the American College and Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and continue to serve as an officer of the organization.
Having trained at a major university, the NYU School of Medicine, I maintain an affiliation with academic medicine as Assistant Clinical Professor at the U.C. Denver School of Medicine.My surgical skills are constantly updated and I am certified both in open and minimally invasive surgery, including DaVinci robotic surgery. I have extensive experience in the medical and surgical treatment of pelvic pain related to endometriosis. I also perform evaluation and treatment of infertility including ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination, and microsurgical reversal of tubal sterilization.
