Dr. Jessica Fleishman is a thorough and compassionate board-certified ophthalmologist serving patients in New York City and in the surrounding communities. She earned her doctoral ophthalmology degree from Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Fleishman is a member of the Retina Society and is affiliated with The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and the Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. She specializes in bladeless Lasik, small incision cataract surgery, glaucoma, and retinal lasers.
Always putting her patients first, Dr. Fleishman prides herself on her willingness to work with uninsured patients to ensure they receive the eye care they need. She prioritizes communication with her patients and commits the time it takes to arrive at the best treatment plan for them. Our office uses very specialized equipment that helps in the diagnostic process and gives the patient a more comprehensive exam. This diagnostic process can take time and patience, so please expect to commit about 2 hours for your complete eye exam. For patients seeking an eye provider for glasses and/or contact lenses, please be aware that although Dr. Fleishman can provide prescriptions, our office does not provide optical services for purchasing glasses or contacts.
When she is not treating patients, Dr. Fleishman enjoys spending time with her twin daughters, mountain biking, yoga, rock climbing, and recently, parkour.
