Dr. Wong is a general obstetrician/gynecologist recently joining the Women’s Care Medical Group. Born and raised in Kentucky, she witnessed the practice of rural, holisitic medicine which has shaped her desire to deliver high quality, comprehensive care to women.
Dr. Wong received a BA in Psychology, graduating Phi Beta Kappa from Washington University in St. Louis. She returned to her “bluegrass” roots to pursue a medical degree, graduating with honors at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Wong completed her obstetrics/gynecology residency at Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara where she received recognition for clinical patient care, teaching, community service, and advanced surgical skills in minimally invasive approaches including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy.
During her medical training, she spent several months abroad devoted to medical and surgical volunteer work in Mexico and Guatemala.
