Jessica was AWESOME! She was the first mental health provider I had worked with that's primary objective was to just fire a new prescription at me and hope for the best. I felt comfortable discussing my situation, life circumstances, previous experiences with other doctors, and most importantly my end goal for why I was starting the conversation with her and felt she genuinely heard what I was saying. I received no treatment during my initial appointment, but we set a plan in place to find the right solution for me that I am an active participant in and I left feeling much better than I did prior to our appointment. I am thrilled with my experience thus far and would recommend her to anyone who may not know where to start their journey to a healthier, collaborative approach to their mental health!

Jessica Wunder is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing psychiatric and ketamine services for Discovery Behavioral Health (DBH). She obtained her BSN from Creighton University in 2007, and her MSN from Rush University in 2014. In 2022, she completed a fellowship for integrative psychiatry at the Integrative Psychiatry Institute in Boulder, Colorado. Jessica practices with the principles of holistic healing which are focused on mind, body, and lifestyle. She has over 15 years’ experience working in the mental health field in various settings, and now works with adults in an outpatient setting. Jessica takes great privilege and honor in being a part of your journey towards healing and self-discovery. She is a long-standing advocate for increasing mental health awareness, decreasing social stigma, and promoting self-agency within the mental health community. Her approach is with great compassion, respect, and understanding. Given Jessica's long career working with individuals with trauma and treatment-resistant depression, she is passionate about the work unfolding in integrative psychiatry and psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy which provides alternative treatments, hopeful outcomes, and unique pathways towards healing.
