Originally from Kenya, Salaha was inspired to enter the healthcare field by a formative experience in her youth—when international doctors helped treat her grandfather’s complex eye condition. That moment, paired with her curiosity about the human mind and commitment to advocacy, sparked her passion for psychiatric nursing.
Salaha earned her Master of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University, specializing as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Carmel College of Nursing. This strong academic foundation supports her evidence-based, patient-centered approach to care.
Known for her empathy, determination, and thoughtful communication, Salaha creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported. She partners closely with each patient to develop treatment plans tailored to their individual needs, goals, and values—empowering them to take an active role in their healing journey.
