I was a first time parient and I was made to feel completely at ease. I was seen within 5 mins of my appointment time. I went in for an annual physical and the doctor Dr. Joanna Boch was kind, patient and very thorough. She asked me questions and explained everything in detail. I got the feeling that she is a wonderful doctor. Even both the nurse practicioners I interacted with were kind and warm. I was in and out in an hour and this is such an improvement to my previous annual phsical checkups.

I went to this office May 2nd to get an annual pap and STD testing and I still have yet to get my results back. I called 2 days after and 9 days after and both times they said they will call when they get them back from the lab. 2 months later and I still have not gotten a response. I'm quite upset.

Doctor is fine, but I will never be coming back to this Fairfax CareMed location. Nurse/receptionists mumble, talk too quietly, and we're very nonchalant and lethargic. Wait time was RIDICULOUS. Why make an appointment when I have to wait an hour?! I filled out all my paperwork on ZocDoc and STILL had to fill out all the forms even though they knew I had filled them out prior to my arrival.

I have been to this office a few times and am always pleased with my visits with Joanna. She takes the time to listen to you, ask the right questions, and explain her reasoning for certain tests/results. I've also met with Jessica, the nurse practioner, when Joanna was away, and was behond pleased with our meetings as well. Great team!

I booked an appointment with this lady through Zocdoc because she had availability when it was convenient for me and because she was the featured doctor for the specific issue that I was seeking treatment for.
First of all, she told me that she does not issue a diagnosis. Second, after I was charged a higher copay than usual for the visit (I have great insurance, I have already contacted them about this) she spent less than five minutes with me. Didn't touch me, not even to shake my hand. She sat ten feet away the entire four to five minutes she spoke to me. Did not examine me and informed me that Zocdoc made a mistake and they shouldn't have recommended her practice for the issue I specifically selected when I made the appointment.
She then referred me to someone else, brought in their contact information and made me call them. Literally made me call them on the spot so she can "feel like she did something for me".
The whole experience was surreal. I hope others don't make the same mistake.

She was probably one of the most brash and abrasive physician I have ever met. An ultimate tragedy and product of the fallacies of modern medicine. No competency whatsoever to understand what the patient is feeling, and no inclination to show any effort. An utter disgrace. Please go to a different doctor.

This was my first visit to Dr. Bock and I really enjoyed speaking with her. I felt like she listened attentively to each of my concerns and we came up with a plan to address them. She appeared genuinely interested in what I had to say versus other doctors whom I have visited where I received 5 minutes of their attention. I enjoyed her bedside manner and will definitely be continuing to see her in the future.

Be careful, even if you're seeing a primary care doc with an appt, they will bill you ad an urgent care visit as she's out of an urgent care center.
She was up beat an professional but the billing issue really chapped me.

The doctor cut my daughter off and got snippy as she was trying to explain something about me, as I am hard of hearing and she speaks for me and explains a lot about me to my doctors about me, always in my appointments and looking out for my best interests and relaying things we have previously discussed as she is my POA. I usually leave appts asking my daughter what was said but the doctor seemed to make the appt only about herself and me, cutting my daughter out of the appointment when she was trying to explain something about me to her. Not pleased with that part, otherwise I got what I needed out of appointment, but location is farther than expected and will be looking for more of a family practice for my PCP rather than an Urgent care facility. Staff was nice.

The insurance/Dr phone app said she could treat for ADD. She is an intern and can not diagnose or treat. She said my daughter was healthy and I was billed for the visit. We wasted our time and had to schedule with someone else and pay again.
