“Dr. Conner and his medical assistant Zohal were amazing. Zohal brought me back right away, I didn’t have to wait at all. Dr. Conner came in within minutes and had such a great bedside manner. He really took his time listening to all my concerns, explaining everything clearly, and going over treatment options, tests, and next steps. I felt very comfortable and cared for. The office was easy to find with plenty parking and inside was super clean.

About Dr. Joseph Connor
Dr. Joseph Connor, DO, a dedicated Family Medicine physician committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive, and patient-centered care to individuals and families across Northern Virginia. Dr. Connor brings a wealth of training, leadership experience, and a passion for preventive medicine to every patient he serves.
Dr. Connor earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) in Bradenton, Florida. He went on to complete his Family Medicine Residency at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, New York, where he was recognized for his leadership skills and selected as Chief Resident during his final year.
Throughout his residency, Dr. Connor developed a strong foundation in outpatient family medicine, managing patients of all ages and a wide variety of conditions. His training emphasized preventive health, chronic disease management, and the holistic principles of osteopathic medicine—which focuses on treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.
Dr. Connor believes that listening is the cornerstone of good medicine. Patients consistently describe him as approachable, compassionate, and thorough. He takes the time to understand each patient’s concerns, explain diagnoses and treatments clearly, and partner with them in making decisions about their health.

Doctor listen to my ailments, concerns, and preference of treatment. He offered advice and help to compliment the treatment I sought. The appointment was not rushed, but instead his time was given to make sure all of my issues were addressed. Prescriptions were sent immediately to my pharmacy, and I walked out with all the paperwork that I needed.

Dr. Connor gave me a Pre-Op exam for cataract surgery. Very thorough, patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. I am making him my primary care physician and I recommend him strongly. Casey, the technician, conducted the EKG and was excellent, too.
