Dr. John Cefalu, MD is double Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He is also a fellowship-trained interventional pain management specialist. Dr. Cefalu is highly trained in minimally invasive and non-invasive interventional procedures including spinal cord, dorsal root ganglion, and peripheral nerve stimulation, intrathecal drug delivery, Vertiflex, minimally invasive lumbar decompression, sacroiliac joint fusion, kyphoplasty, basivertebral nerve ablation, and even ketamine infusion.
He treats a variety of disorders including cervical and lumbar spinal stenosis, peripheral neuropathy, lumbar post-laminectomy syndrome, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), abdominal pain, pelvic pain, and cancer pain.
