He didn't do anything spectacular. He checked me, proscribed therapy and asked:"Anything else?" Like he was selling cookies. Strictly "old fashioned type of doctor". Nothing further than that. From doctor I expect little more of "human touch". I was actually looking for primary care physician and this is not it. Office is OK and staff was polite and nice.

I was not given any clear explanation of blood work results or diagnosis. I had to ask. This doctor on both appointments gave attempted to give me a shoulder injection. I did not appreciate not being able to see what he was putting in the syringe. His back was turned to me. Nor did he explain what he was giving me in the injection. So denied. I noticed older patients who may not ask questions in his office, but as a younger medical professional I did not like this type of practice.

Nice receptionist and nursing staff, and the doctor seems over all very helpful for the older patient. However, I am a young chronic pain sufferer who has been automatically assumed to be a drug seeker due to my age by any doctors I seek for diagnosis and treatment. I have gone with unbearable pain that has been left untreated for years, and every time I go to another doctor to seek help again, my results are the same and my anxiety increases and I avoid seeking help again for a while because I know how it will go. Even though the appointment seemed to head in a promising direction, I was told 'pain isn't treated with pain management' (because it's addictive, like every single other med I'm required to take) and was recommended Tylenol for the constant skeletomuscular pain that makes it nearly impossible to get up most days, and requires me to use a cane on days when my lower back makes it hard to walk. If I had known a couple of Tylenol would fix chronic pain due to likely fibromyalgia I wouldn't have spent over 3 years and endless money trying to seek professional help, not to mention the hour it took to get to this office today. I have bloodwork to follow up with but honestly I don't think that the doctor has treating my pain in mind, it will either continue down another road of pointless test that don't explain why I have pain, or I will be cast off onto another doctor. I'm not sure if I ever will find a doctor who will take my suffering seriously and that is honestly a tragedy because I know I'm not the only one who deals with this.

It was my first visit with Dr. Joseph yesterday 4/17/15. He was so personable, concerned about me, I could cry. I felt that I finally have found a doctor who cares about his patients well being/health. I have multiple health problems which we discussed and I have faith in him that he will make me feel better. It's very important to have doctor who cares about his patients, with Dr. Joseph's knowledge and expertise I'm sure that my quality of life will be back too 100% soon. I left the office yesterday feeling very confident about Dr. Joseph and I haven't felt that way in a long time. However, it is far too see him because I live in a different borough but it's worth it the trip!! I'm seeing him next week Monday!!! I am on my way to hopefully feeling better. THANKS SO MUCH, DR. JOSEPH!!! Yay!!!

Dr Joseph is a real gentleman. The staff was courteous and kind. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this ma. He is caring, concerned and capable(alliteration).
I have a chronic problem that creates fluid in my knee. Dr j removed the fluid and was extra gentle. I felt as if I were his only patient. That's the "one on one" attention that this doctor provides.
He is sof spoken and extremely knowledgable. I hope I never need to see a rheumatologist again but if I do, Dr. Joseph....Here I come.

Dr. Joseph is a soft spoken man. He listens to what you have to say without rushing you. He treats whatever your complaint is right away. He has diagnosis equipment in the office which makes this possible. He is very experienced in finding the source of your pain by touch. For example. I was having pain in my foot which radiated throughout, Dr. Joseph did a manual exam and located the source and was able to give me an injection in the right spot. The staff is also very courteous and wait times are short. I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Joseph.
