I am a board–certified primary care physician with more than 20 years of experience. In 2002, after medical school and residency at UCLA, I moved to New York where I first practiced at Mount Sinai Hospital and then at NYU Langone’s New York Center for Men’s Health.
Over the years, I came to recognize the importance of the doctor-patient relationship in providing exceptional care and also the intrinsic difficulty of creating that bond with tightly-timed appointments.
In 2022, after two decades of seeing up to 25 patients per day, I opened an independent practice in order to offer individualized preventative and primary care without the constraints imposed by the insurance-based healthcare system.

Dr. McKnight took his time with me, discussing everything from my physical and mental health, to my diet and exercises routines. He is interested in keeping me well, although he has also guided me through illnesses. He is a rare gem of an ultra attentive general practitioner in a world of overwhelmed doctors who don’t have the time to get to know their patients personally.

Dr. McKnight is fantastic, both professionally and personally. He has a wide breadth of medical knowledge and expertise, and he is extremely friendly and personable. Most importantly, in my opinion, McKnight is an attentive listener and conversationalist, taking the time to thoroughly listen to and discuss your issue(s) and considering treatment options. I highly recommend.

Dr. Mcknight is a caring and experienced internist who always takes his time to listen to the patient. He has a genuine interest in his patient's well being and conveys this during exams, yearly physicals and follow up visits. I trust and highly recommend Dr. John M. Mcknight.

I've been a long time patient of Dr. Mcknigt's and I was happy to learn of his new practice. From Day 1, the focus has been on wellness, and Dr. Mcknight's care has added greatly to my well-being. On my last visit, I spent an har with the doctor, who listened to all of my questions & concerns & addressed them. How healthcare should be.
