About Dr. Janelle Sunwoo
Dr. Janelle Sunwoo is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from New York Medical College and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at New York University. Chosen by the prestigious Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education in New York City-a unique, accelerated medical program that emphasizes the need for primary care physicians in New York-Dr. Sunwoo was exposed to cultural competence and awareness, performed community health assessments, and worked throughout New York City to promote preventive medicine. She was also President of the New York chapter of the American Medical Women's Association and is a strong advocate for women's health.
