Great doctor - I had a sinus infection which was actually not the cause of my pain and he not only treated that with medication that would actually work but also has engaged numerous other doctors to help me solve the root cause issue of my pain even though it is not sinus related - office location seems strange at first as it is at the end of an apartment/office building hall that is apartments but once you enter the office it has great vibes, the receptionists and those who drew my blood were compassionate and knowledgeable, go here!!

I had an excellent experience here. I saw a lot of reviews complained about unexpected charges. They clearly explained to me everything they could potentially charge me for for the various procedures, so I was not caught off guard by anything. Saw me right away, and he listened very closely to my symptoms and my story. He asked a lot of questions and gave me great insight. Also gave me an excellent referral for an internist.

My experience was sub par. I felt like I was not a priority and had to reach out several times to see if my sleep test was ordered. The doctor also canceled 2 of my follow up appointments. This ordeal took about 2 months while it should have only taken a few weeks.I never got my results back from my test because every follow up appointment I made he canceled. I immediately made another appointment with another doctor who suggested I have reconstructive surgery for my breathing problems all while this doctor never mentioned that I could possibly benefit from a surgery. His staff was unpleasant as well. They also charged my husband for a "surgery" by mistake when he was only there for a sinus infection which took my insurance months to fix.

It was wonderful! I've been getting an illness for a few years and doctors never know what it is. I'm miserable and I can't eat, drink or swallow. John McMahan looked at me and knew what it was within minutes! Fantastic! So so so happy! Would definitely recommend. Everyone at the office was super awesome! Mary, his assistant, was super sweet too!

I travel frequently and have ongoing ear issues so I've seen five ear nose and throat doctors in 4 cities the past 3 months and this is the only one that charges me for every single thing he touches. The term is "bill stuffing" and it sucks. The cost of him telling me something that somebody several days before had already told me was more than the cost of a flight back to the original doctor. When I complained about their billing practices, they asked if I had insurance.

The visit was fine...saw me for 5 minutes and referred me to a specialist. Referred me to another doctor and since than I have heard nothing back from the office. 0 follow up and I have called multiple times trying to get them to call the specialist again. Also had issues with them calling the pharmacy in a timely manner. Would not recommend this doctor due to a lack of follow up and care.

Dr. McMahan was really great! He was listened to my symptoms and offered a bunch of options that could help ease them. Even though I hope these steps and medication will be a cure for me I wouldn't mind seeing Dr. McMahan again if need be.

He had me schedule an MRI at the hospital, then he never called with the results or a gameplan to move forward. I called multiple times to get the results and the office never called back. I still have never heard from any doctors regarding the MRI that I got over a month ago. As soon as my appointment was over, I was completely ignored.

Dr. McMahan is great. The office runs smoothly while your there, and everyone on staff is both knowledgeable and friendly. My only complaint is that once you leave the office, communication takes a steep drop. Make sure you have your prescriptions sorted out before you leave, because everyone's great in person, but it's incredibly difficult to get things sorted out over phone or the portal.
