Dr. Minkowski graduated from Princeton University in 1973. After medical school and two years of internal medicine at the University of Maryland, Dr. Minkowski began his three year residency in ophthalmology at the Wilmer Ophthalmological Institute of the Johns Hopkins Medical School, finishing in 1982. Thereafter, he spent two years in a cornea fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital of the Harvard Medical School and returned to Baltimore in 1984. He joined MD EyeCare in the fall of 2011 after nearly three decades in private practice. Dr. Minkowski plays competitive squash in his spare time.
