I am not much of a go-and-see-the-doctor kind of guy.
This visit was very pleasant. Nice waiting room, as waiting rooms go, friendly and professional staff. The Doctor was knowledgeable, friendly and understood my issue completely.
I appreciated his conservative approach and have complete confidence in what he recommends.

I really like this Doctor & his staff is so helpful & nice! The only drawback was I only got to meet him for our initial consult & then for 5 mins coming out of surgery. All follow up visits are done through his associate. I would've appreciated him doing at least the first follow up visit with me.

More about Dr. John Thalgott, MD
Dr. Thalgott is fellowship trained in general spinal surgery, adult reconstructive spinal surgery, and spinal trauma and deformity surgery. Dr. Thalgott has been practicing medicine in Las Vegas since 1986. He developed a gasless endoscopic approach to the lumbar spine which allows for reliable access to the anterior column up to L2. He is Clinical Director of the International Spinal Development & Research Foundation, based in Las Vegas. The non-profit Foundations current research encompasses implants and instrumentation, the use of bone graft substitutes and molecules to enhance fusion, spinal cord stimulation for chronic pain, and a wide variety of minimally invasive approaches to spinal surgery. These approaches have been shown to reduce hospital stays, and accelerate rehabilitation and return to work status in preliminary studies. He has been an invited guest lecturer at multiple sites throughout the world including San Filippo Neri Hospital (Italy); Vatican Hospital (Italy);, Beijing No. 3 University Hospital and Rui Jin Hospital (China); Association of Spine Surgeons of India (India); Korean Spine Society (Korea); and Western Pacific Orthopaedic Association (Singapore), to name just a few. Dr. Thalgott has had over 100 abstracts accepted for either oral or poster presentation at annual spine meetings throughout the world.
