He provided us with helpful information regarding my back, and gave me options to try to AVOID surgery. I know there is a vast number of physicians that are “cut happy”, but Dr. Mike is the antithesis of those other physicians, and we have always been impressed by that.
I’ve seen Dr. Mike for many many other various body parts, and I always return to see him. I have a great deal of trust in his medical prowess.”

About Dr. Michael Trainor
Dr. Michael A. Trainor earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1992. He went on to complete medical school and orthopedic surgery residency training at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following residency, Dr. Trainor completed his spine and neurosurgical training at the Kenton D. Leatherman Spine Fellowship Program, through the University of Louisville, Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Trainor has been in private practice in Prescott, Arizona since 2004. Dr. Trainor specializes is minimally invasive cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spinal surgery - including, minimally invasive fusions and microdiscectomy, as well as fracture care. Dr. Trainor is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, a member of the North American Spine Society, Society of Lateral Access Surgeons, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Trainor has given lectures and taught other surgeons minimally invasive spine surgical techniques at several national spine meetings. Dr. Trainor holds active licenses in Arizona and Nevada.

One of the front desk employees was short with me and seemed like a very rude person. I was very surprised at her attitude. I know it is a very busy office and they have nonstop patients, but there is never an excuse for being short with a patient and rude. I am not use to that type of treatment.

Dr. Michael Trainor is a very animated communicator. He is enthusiastic about educating the patient about everything that the patient is presenting. The wait time was way longer than expected but it was worth it and I assume the delay was caused by him taking all the time necessary to educate his patients. I am very willing to wait a long time for the doctor to properly educate all his/her's patients as to what their problem is.
