When he is not practicing medicine, Dr. Washburn is a published author of fiction as well an accomplished marathon runner. He enjoys outdoor recreation activities including snow skiing, duck hunting, and golf.

There is usually no wait time in the office or if there is it is less than10 minutes. I was able to book an appointment within 2 days online. I love Dr.Washburn and his staff they are all very helpful, courteous, and experienced. I had to have blood work done and I didn't even feel the stick, now that is an accomplishment.

I just moved to the area about 4 months ago and I am a new patient of Dr. Washburn. After I completed my new patient paperwork, they got me right in to see Dr. Washburn. The nurses and assistants were great as well and they had a great humor! I felt like I have known everyone forever! Everyone seems to really care for thier patients! Dr. Washburn is awesome! I think Dr. Washburn and all his staff are super people. They have always gone above and beyond to take care of me. Two times, I have gone in without an appointment. They took care of me anyway and I don't think the wait time was much longer than if I had an appointment.

My son had a pretty bad ear infection that came out of nowhere, I was able to set up a walkin appt. over the phone and was told there might be a short wait(we expected that for a Friday) but when we got to the office we were seen almost immediately! After filling out ALL the new patient forms and paying my co-payment, I was able to quickly see Dr. Washburn. Unfortunately, he informed me that he DOES NOT perform the procedure I needed ( Synovial cyst drainage.) This even after I filled out the requirement on ZocDoc AND spoke to the appointment person telling her what I needed. The reason I would recommend this doctor and why I would send a friend is because they were somehow able to schedule me an appointment with another nearby doctor the NEXT day! In my opinion, the doctor admitted an error from his staff AND exerted the effort to make it right with me. Thanks

After working with different doctors over the last few decade, I am glad that I got Dr. Washburn as my PCP. I have seen him twice so far. I found him a down-to-earth and knowledgeable individual with strong ethics. He listens to every concern and communicates well regarding course of treatment (lab work, different options/medications, etc). His team (office staff) is just as pleasant and competent.
