Good doctor with affable bedside manner who listens well. Spent nearly an hour talking and going through my history/issues for my first appointment. It was clear by the end of our session that the doctor listened to everything I said very intently (he also takes a ton of notes). He was able to offer a professional opinion and treatment plan that resonated with me, and I’ll continue to see him because of this.

dr wilson listened to everything i said. i wanted to be put back on meds but he recommended dbt therapy and a revisit when needed. he was very informative and understanding. i’ve been to lots of places that want to doll our meds and he seemed to genuinely want to help any way he could.

I feel as though my appointment was rushed. Dr Wilson was very kind. I just don’t think he asked me the right questions, I don’t feel as though he inquired enough about what I’m going through in the 45mins we met, before diagnosing me and sending a prescription to the pharmacy.

I was ten minutes late to my second appointment after receiving no link to join the call. On my first call I was sent a link to join via cell phone text message immediately at the start of the appointment time. For some reason on my second call, instead of a text message, the link was sent via email. Expecting to receive a text with the link, I did not think to check my email.I did not know how to join the call or contact the doctor. The psychiatrist proceeds to call me 10 minutes after the start of the call and essentially scold and berate me for not joining the call which was “not cool” in his words. Why he couldn’t call me immediately after the start I do not know. I then asked if we could start the session now, which he clearly had zero interest in doing. His exact response was “he had other patients who needed his help”. For a mental health professional to come across so aggressively for missing a virtual appointment by 10 minutes due you unclear instructions is quite frankly ridiculous. After asking him what his aggressive attitude was for he told me “he was having a bad day”. This guy is extremely unprofessional. After seeing how petty and vindictive this guy could be over a ten minute appointment or even an all around missed appointment - I would never recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Wilson was very polite. He actively listened to all of my concerns. He validated my thoughts and feelings. He even went through a few treatment options with me to find the best option for me.

Dr. Wilson took a thorough history, was kind and patient, answered all of my questions and was pleasant to speak with about my various issues. I felt comfortable which is very important.

I very much appreciated Dr. Wilson’s approach, which was straightforward and honest while also being highly compassionate. Sometimes the best thing a medical provider can do is remind the patient (me) of all the options under their control to get better, which he did. He was also highly helpful in providing referrals to other professionals that might be most appropriate for my needs.

I was very worried leading up to my appointment that Dr. John Wilson would rush my appointment, cut me, or throw me a fast diagnosis and not listen to my concerns as previous psychiatrists have done. I was pleasantly surprised. He was patient, personable, and optimistic and that really helped me to relax. I do believe I’m in great hands. If you’re looking for a humble, patient and understanding psychiatrist who will listen to you, look no further.

Doctor Wilson was very understanding and helped me at the right time. He was very patient and provided the right support for me to begin my treatment. He is easily reachable and accessible and was able to return my calls pretty quickly.
Great doctor. Better human. Highly recommend!
Dr. Wilson is professional, caring and thorough. He spent a significant amount of time getting to know me and then we both talked about my options before deciding on the best path forward for me. Highly recommend.
Dr Wilson has been extremely patient and thoughtful with his advice to my children. They have responded very well to his advice and we look forward to the continued benefit from sessions with Dr Wilson. Highly recommend
I’m so happy I found Dr. Wilson. He was extremely professional and so easy to talk to. I felt completely at ease during the appointment and I’m looking forward to making progress thanks to him.
Highly recommend
I really appreciate the time that he spent with me. At first, I was apprehensive about paying but it was totally worth it. This is not your average "get in & get out" doctor appointment. I would recommend to anyone looking for someone that is really going to take the time to know the patient.
Dr. Wilson is professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. After struggling to find someone that makes me feel comfortable enough to talk, I have finally found the right doctor. Through his questioning, Dr. Wilson was able to pick up on symptoms that I did not even realize existed. Thanks to Dr. Wilson, I know I will finally get the help that I need.
