Doctor D. was super! He answered all my questions and made what I think was an accurate diagnosis. His office staff was professional and corteous. Overall an amazing experience and I will be recommending friends and family to his practice.

Dr. Dickinson went to college at U.C. San Diego where he played intercollegiate baseball and earned a B.S. degree in Human Biology in 1979. He then attended Tulane School of Medicine where he obtained his M.D. degree in 1985. He completed his training in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco in 1990.
Dr. Dickinson has been in Private Practice in San Francisco since 1990. He is currently the Board Chairman of Presidio Surgery Center . He is also an Associate Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic surgery at the University of California, San Francisco .
Dr. Dickinson is the Team Orthopaedist for the Oakland A's professional baseball team as well as an orthopaedic consultant to the San Francisco Ballet. His special interests include sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery of the knee, shoulder, elbow and ankle.
He is Board Certified by the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgery with an added qualification in Sports Medicine.

I'd confirmed my appointment and filled out forms on ZocDoc, but I wasn't in the system once I got to the office. Waited an hour for an appointment that barely lasted 10 minutes.
Dr. Dickinson was friendly and knowledgable, but seemed like he was in a rush and eager to move on to the next patient.

Dr. Dickinson is the best. I was in a lot of pain before my left total knee replacement in Sept 2014 & he fixed it. I'm now able to walk normally w/o pain in the left knee. I give him 5 star for his bedside manner. He is extremely personable & is genuinely interested in dealing w/ your concerns. His staff are very courteous & helpful & always ready to give a helping hand

Dr. Dickinson and his MA Cora are great. Front office is hit and miss (ex: they forgot I was waiting for my MRI and I waited an hour over my appointment time). Would come back
