Jon Wininger is a family-friendly and dedicated Dermatologist located in Rahway, NJ. He earned his medical degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and then completed a residency at New York Medical College, where he was appointed Chief Resident. He is certified by the American Board of Dermatology.
Dr. Wininger provides consultations and treatments for acne, allergies, diabetic issues, wounds, rashes, and warts. He performs skin cancer screenings, photodynamic therapy, and anti-aging treatments routinely as well as a variety of minor dermatological surgeries. In addition to his practice, Dr. Wininger is a clinical assistant professor at Seton Hall University and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Outside of the office, Dr. Wininger has been involved in the community by serving on the Mayoral Environmental Commission as well as serving the Board of Education. He is married with three children.

Dr. Jon Wininger was a knowledgeable doctor, very kind, and took his time with me. The wait time was long. I was patient, as it was my first time to the office but I waited an hour before I saw him. It was frustrating in that sense. I overheard the receptionist speaking of how it was a slow day, so I was confused as to why I was waiting so long. Got in at 10:50 and left at 12:15ish. Did not plan on spending that much time at a doctor visit. I will be visiting for a follow up and hope to spend less time in the office.

The doctors office charges for the office visit that requires follow up. I had a minor surgery and was asked me to come back to remove sutures and for follow up. I was charged for this visit as well. I think since this is for the same problem and not a new one, this visit should not be charged.
The doctor takes time to explain the condition. He is courteous and professional. He is caring and does not rush you out of the office.

The receptionist rolled her eyes the entire time, the head nurse shrugged and made rude comments during my intake before the doctor. Clearly overbooked and the office was not kept up, quite out of date. The doctor himself was pleasant and nice but unfortunately after waiting that long to even see him for 5 min at first then a gap of 15 min for him to return in between patients ...I will not continue my treatment here. Sadly disappointed because the thought of a Sunday appointment sounded good but not so much after it.

Wonderful doctor! Dr. Wininger helped me find a solution to my acne problem right away! In a month or so I got rid all the acne scars. My skin has never looked more beautiful. I am really glad I found Dr. Wininger because he is an excellent doctor with lots of experience.

He's a friendly old man but he talks way too much about things that have nothing to do with your appointment. He biopsied my husbands nose (which never really healed properly) and declared that he Had a bad case of lupus... followed up with another Dr who tested my husband again twice with negative results.
