As a young man I experienced a health crisis that shook me to the core. After traveling in Asia I had what seemed like a mysterious illness but which no medical doctor could provide me with answers. I was paralyzed with fear and felt like I had nowhere to turn. Seemingly in a conundrum I started looking for answers outside of conventional medicine. In a process that took years of exploration into health and with the help of numerous mentors, I discovered the remarkable healing powers of the human body.
My practice is oriented towards this approach. I find that the combination of a scientific foundation in physiology and biochemical bodily processes along with the powerful and ancient tool of acupuncture creates one of the best approaches to modern healthcare. I keep up with the latest scientific research into diet, exercise, plant medicines, and lifestyle factors.
