About Tony Wen Li
Tony Li is a board-certified acupuncturist in the state of California and holds a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree from the University of East-West Medicine. He is also a licensed advanced massage practitioner with the city of San Francisco.
Dr. Tony founded Tong De Health Center (formerly known as Tong De Acupuncture Clinic) in 2014. It is his wish to serve the wonderful community of the Northern California Bay Area and to spread the powerful healing aspects of traditional Chinese medicine.

Tony is incredibly skilled, he gave an excellent massage and helped me feel comfortable enough to get acupuncture for the first time. I came in with lower back pain from tweaking my back, and left feeling way better, and I can tell I will heal much faster than I would have without it. Great experience, I would highly recommend. And I was able to make a same-day appointment

I went for my mom because she felt stiffness in her lower leg but we left with back pain and leg pain to the point that she couldn't even bend and wear he shoes. I waited for three days to see if her condition improves but she is still in a lot of pain. I do not recommend his practice!

Well the massage was really great, I do feel that helped lots! Getting into office was odd, have a call box outside but this business is not listed ... Have to call office to get the code to open the door. I was greeted and seen right away, the exam was less than 2 minutes. He just checked my pulse and looked at my tongue... Not sure that's worth it, but he has great massage technique. Now the acupuncture was very painful, I've only done it with one other person but it has never hurt this much .. even had hematoma to my arm, which I guess can happen but never has before. I would go back for a massage, but not for acupuncture.

Dr. Li was warm and professional, his office is really nice and conveniently located he took me right away, and most importantly, his treatment relieved the intense pain I was having due to a shoulder injury. His rates are very reasonable, offering a discount for purchasing a couple of sessions all at once, which incentivizes one to get the full treatment the body needs in order to heal. Also he doesn't charge a fortune for first time consults like many people in this town.

So the practitioner was professional and nice, But it felt like he was rushed, at one time he had four people in rooms at the same time, then two people showed up at the same time for a 430pm appointment. He was in such a rush when he removed the needles he scratched my skin, so I had scabbed scratches on my back and arms all over. So, it wasn’t overall a good experience as far as technique and being relaxed ie one the patients who showed up and wasn’t immediately greeted went thru the office yelling “Hello, Helloooo” instead of patiently waiting for the acupuncturist to greet her. I believe there was a bell that announced your presence when you open the office oooodoor. I’ve had acupuncture across the country in various states, so I am a veteran to having it done and what to expect, so unfortunately I ,was really disappointed overall with the services provided.
