Originally from Hollywood, Florida, Dr. Gill attended the University of South Florida for her undergraduate degree. She pursued her doctoral optometry degree at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Gill keeps her practice up-to-date with regular conventions and seminars through the Southwest Florida Optometric Association.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Gill and my 4 year old son's first time seeing an eye doctor. She was able to explain to my son what was about to happen before it happened in order to calm his nerves. She answered all of his questions throughout the appointment in a manner that a 4 year old could understand. She was also very patient when he cheered while playing Angry Birds throughout my exam. I would definitely recommend her!

Dr Gill is always comforting! Myself and my 3 children see her and even with the nervousness of having someone near your eyes there is never an issue. The office staff is always friendly!!! I will never go to a different eye dr!!!

Dr. Gill was amazing, thorough and very comfortable to speak with. Excellent bedside manner. The girl in the front, hispanic, long black hair, very condescending and rude. She is very quick with you and is not that nice when you ask questions. She performs the initial assessment when she gathers the data on your vision, "look in here, what do you see etc." I was very nervous if something was going to squirt or poof into my eye and she just continued with her directions with NO empathy or explanation. The doctor even heard from her station, however, when she examined me she was very comforting and did an excellent exam. I wish awesome doctors could have awesome staff so people don't stop seeing them because of the uncomfortable atmosphere before going back to see the doctor. I would STILL recommend her, just don't expect much until you get back there...and no, they do not poof or squirt you in the eye until you are back with the doctor. :-)
