About Dr. Jee Kanicky

Undergraduate Education: University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Optometry School: Nova Southeastern University. What drives your passion for optometry? Helping patients get what they visually need. How are you helping patients live their best lives? I am helping our kids function to their potential with their busy electronic educational demands, which helps families understand the various visual needs. What does providing a transformational eyecare experience mean to you? Not only are the basic needs of seeing adequately important but understanding how vision and its devices can affect some peoples' overall development, or a simple change in a pair of glasses can make you feel better, can give a unique eyecare experience. How are you impacting your local community? I enjoy teaching my patients overall basic eye health and anatomy and how it pertains to their unique situation, which can promote better hygiene overall. Hobbies/Interests: Volunteering, spending time with family and friends, watching sports, and whatever interests my children are into at the time, which is currently Taekwondo, and spending time at the beach.
